American Examples 2022: Name for Contributors

American Examples is a collaborative working group for early profession students who research faith in America, broadly conceived, from quite a lot of disciplines. This system is generously funded by the Henry Luce Basis. American Examples engages the research of faith in America throughout three areas: analysis, educating, and public scholarship. Drawing on experience from throughout the Division of Non secular Research on the College of Alabama, American Examples produces students whose work exceeds the tutorial and geographic boundaries of “American faith” or “American spiritual historical past.”

American Examples seeks purposes for members in its 2022 program. AE consists of three workshops, every with its personal focus: analysis, public scholarship, and educating. As COVID-19 continues to make planning troublesome, we’re at the moment planning to carry the three workshops nearly. The AE Steering Committee is intently monitoring the COVID scenario and leaves the opportunity of in-person conferences attainable ought to situations enhance nationally and in Alabama.
