Recovery from Burnout and Exhaustion -- Flower Essence Dropper Bottle and Unscented Spray

Is it possible to feel exhausted from emotional stress and overwhelm alone (even if you are getting what would ordinarily be plenty of sleep)? Oh yes! And it can be VERY hard to tell the difference between that and physical causes of the same symptoms. I’m not going to send you running to your doctor, though, if you know you’ve been worrying and exhausting yourself with whatever is going on. Yes, do get help if this persists. (I had pneumonia once and didn’t know it.) But sometimes what you really have to do is address the emotional issues, so you might as well start there.

Now this is a big topic. But basically, your body produces stress chemicals like cortisol when your mental/emotional state is signaling that a threat of some kind is present. And that’s useful if there is something physical you need to do about that threat like jump into battle or run to the hills. But, more often these days, it’s frequently something upsetting you saw online or on the news or something closer in that you don’t know how to change right away. When this happens over and over or, worse, has become a daily habit it can build to the point of exhaustion. And then you HAVE to change.

Typical choices would include:

  • Making sleep a priority—give in to the tiredness and get more sleep
  • Eating a balanced diet—are you getting enough D3, iron, B vitamins, etc.?
  • Getting more exercise
  • Taking nature breaks outside
  • Reducing or eliminating sources of stress (maybe read a book instead of doomscrolling or watching the news, for example)
  • Practicing mindfulness or meditation
Flower essence support? Well, a couple of days ago I reached for my bottle of “Recovering from Burnout and Exhaustion” and it helped me feel better immediately. A sure sign, my tiredness stemmed from emotional distress, that’s for sure! What’s in it?

  • Aloe Vera: for balanced use of power
  • Corn: for grounded ability to stand tall (emotional backbone)
  • Hornbeam: for renewed inner strength, energy and enthusiasm for life tasks
  • Zinnia: for regaining a sense of play and enthusiasm about the game of life
What did it do for me? Well, getting my work done on my day job was feeling like pulling teeth before. And I was SO tired even though I had taken a nap. Within a minute or two of trying this formula, I felt like I woke up. I wasn’t wide awake and hyper (my other most challenging state). No, I just felt like I came back to myself and had a feeling of inner strength and well-being. I went back to work and got it done with ease.

Later that day, I noticed myself feeling irritated when my partner Paul turned on a news commentary show we both usually watch. Not that night! I wanted nothing to do with it, so he wore headphones and I found something more enjoyable to do. And that felt great.

Flower essences are used to assist with mind-body-spirit interactions and individual results may vary. They are extremely dilute which makes them quite safe. But because so little physical substance can be detected in a flower essence solution, these products are presumed to work on an energetic or vibrational level—something that cannot be adequately tested by western scientific methods. Claims made by me, therefore, are based on personal experiences and the evidence of the combined multiple decades of case notes by Dr. Edward Bach as well as Healing Herbs and Flower Essence Services (the companies who make the ingredients I use in my products).
