A number of time BJJ world champion Leandro Lo died a few days in the past in a nightclub in Brazil. He was shot twice within the head in an altercation over basically nothing by an undercover cop carrying a gun. The tragedy is a waste of his life and expertise.
It jogged my memory of some self defence sayings which can be price remembering:
- Don’t ever begin a combat over one thing that isn’t price dying over.
- For those who do find yourself in an altercation then win.
and:
It takes a stronger man to stroll away from a combat than to begin one.
